Chinese Jewelry Box Cloisonne Enamel / Lotus Flower & Brass / 12 Inches Tall

A super large & unique vintage Chinese jewellery box or cabinet in gorgeous dark wood, decorated with finely painted cloisonné plaques depicting blossoming lotus flowers, and with brass ornaments, hinges & cornerpieces. Double doors that open into 5 drawers all padded with lovely pink - gold fabric.

The bottom drawer has a layered lining. Enamel decorations are wonderfully vibrant in: red, blue and green. Marked on the bottom with:'made in the people's republic of china'.

Minor wear, no major damage observed. Decorative piece for storing valuable jewels or other treasury. Height 30 cm or 12 inches.
